FioRé Vegetable Steak

The FioRé vegetable steak is produced exclusively from not genetically modified soya (GMO free) and from noble wheat proteins. It is 100% vegetable but not Seitan, is obtained from a natural fermentation and then enriched with vitamins A and D3. Besides, we remark the presence of inulin, the noble fibre that helps the regulation of intestinal flora with its bifid-genic effect, as well as the absorption of Calcium. FioRé does not contain cholesterol and is recommended for low-fats diets. It is suggested for lactose allergy sufferers due to the absence of this component. FioRé is an excellent substitute for meat, easily digestible, it always maintains its tender texture and can be readily cooked as a traditional meat steak. The Fioré production line is subjected to strict sanitary controls by qualified technicians from our internal analysis and research laboratory.

Ingredients Soya beverage 77% (water, concentrated not genetically modified soya proteins 3.5%, Vitamins A and D3, acidity corrector: citric acid), wheat gluten 19%, durum wheat flour, food fibre: inulin 1.6%, extract for stock, natural flavours, selected yeasts.
Features An excellent substitute of meat, tasty and structured. Low fats and carbohydrates content. FioRé is always tender and without scrap.
Properties 100% vegetable product, rich in noble proteins. No cholesterol, lactose, egg content. It contains vitamins A and D3. Rich in food fibre: inulin 1.6%.
Packaging Vacuum bags of 200/300 grams (0.44/0.66 ozUK) about in box with visual opening. Different sizes, always vacuum, available on request.

Recipes

FioRé steak “Cacciatora” style

Put FioRé in a non-stick pan with extra-virgin olive oil, add salt, rosemary and oregano according to taste. Cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes. Take Fioré out of the pan and put it temporarily in a plate. In the meanwhile enrich the juice with pulp or peeled tomatoes, half vegetable stock cube, a garlic clove, two pinches of oregano and one of ground black pepper. Cook stirring on a medium flame for 5 – 6 minutes approx. Only when the juice will be thick and amalgamated enough, put again FioRé in the pan and complete cooking on a high flame for 1 – 2 minutes approx. Serve hot in a plate with a raw trickle of extra-virgin olive oil.

FioRé steak with mustard

Put FioRé in a non-stick pan with extra-virgin olive oil, add salt according to taste. Cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes approx. Add vegetable cream and cognac (well over one tbsp.) half way through the cooking and stir till the juice will appear smooth and thickened. Add on well over one tbsp. of French mustard, go on cooking stirring for one minute approx. Serve FioRé with its sauce.

FioRé steak “Mediterranean” style

Grease a non-stick pan with extra-virgin olive oil, heat, then lay FioRé adding some rosemary and oregano leaves, pepper and salt. Cook on a medium flame for 5 – 6 minutes approx. till FioRé will be browned. Serve hot with fresh vegetables.

FioRé steak “Asian” style

Grease a non-stick pan with extra-virgin olive oil, heat on a medium flame, lay FioRé adding pepper and salt. Cook for 5 – 6 minutes till FioRé will be well browned. Add on soya sauce according to taste. Serve hot with fresh vegetables.
